Raphaëlle is an immortal being accustomed to passively observing the profound changes in human society. But for several centuries, she has observed the destruction of the world—and therefore of hell—looming ever more rapidly. She then decides to travel the Earth to show mankind the absurdity of their choices and thus save her world.
